Key Responsibilities

Infrastructure Provisioning & Management

• Provision and manage AWS infrastructure using Terraform, CloudFormation, or AWS CDK

• Deploy and configure EC2 instances, Auto Scaling Groups, and Launch Templates

• Manage containerized workloads with ECS or EKS

• Build and operate serverless applications using AWS Lambda, API Gateway, and Step Functions

• Administer RDS, DynamoDB, and ElastiCache

• Manage S3 (lifecycle policies, versioning, replication)

Networking & Connectivity

• Configure VPCs, subnets, route tables, internet gateways, and NAT gateways

• Implement security groups and network ACLs following least-privilege principles

• Set up VPN and Direct Connect for hybrid connectivity

• Configure Application Load Balancers (ALB) and Network Load Balancers (NLB)

• Manage Route53 (DNS, records, health checks)

• Configure CloudFront distributions

CI/CD Pipeline Implementation

• Build and maintain pipelines using CodePipeline, CodeBuild, CodeDeploy

• Integrate with GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Jenkins

• Implement blue-green and canary deployments

• Set up automated testing (unit, integration, security)

• Manage artifacts with ECR or CodeArtifact

• Apply GitOps practices

Monitoring, Logging & Observability

• Configure CloudWatch (metrics, alarms, dashboards)

• Set up CloudWatch Logs for centralized logging

• Implement tracing with AWS X-Ray

• Integrate with Datadog, New Relic, Dynatrace

• Build alerting and incident response workflows

• Create custom metrics and log queries

Security & Compliance

• Implement IAM roles, policies, and permission boundaries

• Configure AWS SSO

• Manage secrets via Secrets Manager or Parameter Store

• Implement encryption (at rest & in transit)

• Configure AWS WAF and Shield

• Perform security assessments using Security Hub and Inspector

• Ensure compliance with governance and tagging policies

Automation & Scripting

• Develop scripts using Python, Bash, or PowerShell

• Build automation with Lambda functions

• Create reusable Terraform modules

• Automate operations (backup, patching, cleanup)

• Implement self-healing systems

• Develop ChatOps integrations

Backup, Disaster Recovery & High Availability

• Configure AWS Backup

• Implement RDS backup and snapshot strategies

• Design and test DR plans (RTO/RPO)

• Deploy multi-AZ architectures

• Implement cross-region replication

• Conduct DR drills and maintain runbooks

Cost Optimization & Resource Management

• Monitor AWS costs using Cost Explorer and CUR

• Implement cost allocation tagging

• Right-size infrastructure based on usage

• Utilize Reserved Instances and Savings Plans

• Eliminate unused resources

• Set up cost alerts and anomaly detection

Troubleshooting & Support

• Troubleshoot production issues

• Analyze logs, metrics, and traces for root cause

• Participate in on-call rotations

• Perform capacity planning and performance tuning

• Collaborate with development teams

• Document troubleshooting processes

YÊU CẦU

• 5+ years in Cloud/DevOps/Infrastructure (3+ years with AWS)

• Strong experience with AWS core services (EC2, VPC, S3, RDS, Lambda, ECS/EKS)

• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform preferred)

• Solid networking knowledge (TCP/IP, DNS, load balancing, VPN)

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines

• Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, or PowerShell)

• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes/ECS

• Linux/Unix administration knowledge

• Understanding of security best practices and IAM

• Experience with Git (GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket)

• Strong problem-solving skills

• Good English communication

• AWS DevOps Engineer Professional or other AWS certifications

• Experience with EKS/Kubernetes

• Knowledge of Serverless Framework or SAM

• Experience with Ansible, Chef, Puppet

• Familiarity with Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack

• Database knowledge (PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle)

• Experience with multi-account setups and landing zones

• Knowledge of Control Tower and Service Catalog

• Agile/Scrum experience

• Experience with AWS migration tools

• Understanding of compliance (SOC 2, ISO 27001, GDPR)

• Background in enterprise or regulated environments
