We are looking for a Data Governance Specialist to establish, implement, and continuously improve the organization's data governance framework. The successful candidate will work closely with business and technology teams to ensure data quality, consistency, security, and compliance across enterprise systems while supporting data-driven decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
Support the implementation and daily operation of the enterprise Data Governance framework across business units.
Develop, maintain, and enforce data governance policies, standards, procedures, and best practices.
Define and maintain business glossary, data definitions, metadata, and data lineage to ensure consistency across enterprise systems.
Monitor and improve data quality, integrity, availability, and accessibility through governance standards and performance metrics.
Collaborate with Data & Analytics, IT, Product, and business stakeholders to resolve data-related issues and standardize data processes.
Facilitate cross-functional discussions to align data definitions, formats, and governance practices across departments.
Support the implementation and administration of data governance tools, including metadata management, data catalog, and data lineage solutions.
Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations regarding data privacy, security, and data protection, including Vietnam's consumer data protection laws.
Define and maintain data ownership, stewardship, governance roles, and decision-making processes.
Drive the adoption of enterprise data governance and AI governance controls, ensuring data is auditable, secure, and properly managed.
Prepare governance reports, dashboards, and documentation to monitor governance maturity and compliance.

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Management, or related fields.
3+ years of experience in Data Governance, Data Management, Data Quality, Business Intelligence, or related areas.
Strong understanding of data governance principles, metadata management, master data management (MDM), data quality, and data lineage.
Experience working with data governance platforms (e.g., Collibra, Microsoft Purview, Informatica, Alation, or similar tools) is preferred.
Knowledge of SQL and data warehouse concepts is an advantage.
Familiarity with data privacy regulations and information security standards.
Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
Ability to work effectively in cross-functional and multicultural environments.
Good command of English, both written and spoken.
